Methyl Methacrylate Adhesives are a high strength adhesive that cure as thermoplastics to achieve tough bond lines that resist peel and cleavage stresses as well as impact. They can withstand temperatures between -40°F (-40°C) and 302°F (150°C) and bond to many different plastic and metal surfaces while keeping mechanical properties. The actual curing reaction then only takes place in the bonded joint after bringing the substrates together. This process avoids having to mix difficult mixing ratios and allows use of fast curing adhesives with excellent environmental and chemical resistance with permanent toughness and minimal surface preparation.
